How to create a journal entry report
To create journal entries, navigate to the Activity view. You can select multiple transactions from the list using the checkboxes and click the "sync" button at the top of the screen.
Or you can create journal entries for individual transaction rows by clicking the row and clicking the Save and Sync to GL button. Once the general ledger sync is complete, you will receive a green notification and you are now ready to export your entries.
To process your Journal Entry Export report, click on the export button in the top right of the activity page.
Pro Tip: You can select wallet filters, date filters, or individual transactions prior to running the report. If you do not select any filters, the report will automatically default to the past 30 days.
In the Export window, scroll down to Journal Entry Export and click the Export Journal Entries button to generate the report. the transaction status will be updated with a green checkmark in the GL sync column.
A success message will appear and you will be automatically redirected to the reports tab where you can find your completed report ready to be downloaded.
You are now ready to review the journal entries you generated and import the file into your accounting system of choice.
